    Airport to Habarana

    Sigiriya rock

    Another must see location included in the package is Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Sigiriya Rock, also known as the ‘Lion Rock’, is an ancient rock fortress and palace built by King Kassapa during the 5th century.

    You are welcome to explore the grounds of the ancient palace complex and see some of the most beautiful and celebrated monuments that Sri Lanka has to offer. Climb the steps to the top of the Rock Fortress and enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding landscapes.

  • Day 3
    Pidurangala rock, National park safari

    Catch the first light or last light of the day from the top of Pidurangala rock. Walk through the temple at the base and start climbing the rock until you reach the peak. Once there, take a deep breath and enjoy the astonishing view of the famous Lion’s Rock (Sigiriya) and the surrounding landscape.

    Kandy, Botanical Garden

    You will visit the Temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy which is one of the most sacred places of Buddhists. This temple is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, believed to house the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.

    Peradeniya Botanical Garden, located near Kandy in Sri Lanka, is renowned for its stunning collection of over 4,000 plant species, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. Spanning approximately 147 acres, the garden is a major tourist attraction and a key center for botanical research and conservation. Established in 1821, it features beautifully landscaped lawns, pavilions, and a large collection of tropical flora, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a serene, picturesque environment.

  • Day 5
    Nuwaraeliya, Train Ride, Nine arch bridge

    On your visit to Nuwara Eliya where you drive through the beautiful green landscapes and lively villages, you will be provided with the experience of upcountry tea production.

    Nuwara Eliya is blessed with breathtaking views of valleys, mountains, meadows and greenery which calm you from within. It’s hard not to feel as if you have been transported back in time to Colonial British Ceylon.

    During the upcountry train ride, you will see the green covered mountains and world famous Nine Arch Bridge which is one of the prominent architectural designs in Sri Lanka.

     

  • Day 6
    Lipton Seat, Little Adam's Peak

    Tuk tuk, the most used vehicle in Sri Lanka, you start your journey through the tea plantations. On the way to Lipton’s Seat, the well-known viewpoint with break-taking views, you can observe the tea pickers filling up their baskets with bright green tea leaves. Rumor has it that Sir Lipton used this spot to keep an eye on his empire.

  • Day 7
    Miirissa and Tour End

    At Mirissa, which is located in southern coast of Sri Lanka, you will be able to relax under the tropical sun while expecting a cool king coconut. You are welcome to taste the seafood at a nearby seafood restaurant to satisfy your taste buds by Sri Lankan cuisine on your last day at the island.
